Our IKEBANA Classes

Our teaching follows the Ohara style of ikebana where we aim to help you:

  • Develop technical skills in foundational Ohara forms, including Moribana and Heika.

  • Foster a sensitivity to seasonal materials and natural expression.

  • Encourage personal growth through the practice of mindful arrangements.

SAY HELLO TO YOUR INSTRUCTOR

Our Ikebana instructor, Nono Tabata, joins us from Japan. She is a skilled practitioner and fully qualified teacher of the Ohara School of Ikebana.

Nono brings years of experience and dedication to her craft, and her teachings offer not only technical skill but also insight into the cultural and spiritual depth of Ikebana.

Please note our Introduction to Ikebana class may be taught by another teacher though Nono will lead all other classes.
